Shell Covered Large Sphere Pendant Light, Vintage

This is a very cool shell encrusted, large spherical pendant light. The entire surface is covered with shells that have been ground down to about 1/32″ thick and somehow flattened out, with irregular curves. The shells are epoxied to a fiberglass sphere. The light that travels through the shells is a soft warm glow of pearlized white and an amberish to a ruddy purple tone. The light has 2 bulb sockets that can use up to a 60-Watt bulb in each one. There is a 6″ hole in the top to access the light bulbs. There are 2 looped chains that are attached to the sides of the opening for the light to hang from, (this adds another 6″ to the height). The light has an outlet plug and it is in working order. The light has about one foot of electrical cord past the height of the chains.
